2024 Sponsorship Proposal

NWI Triathletes Club is a group of individuals brought together in pursuit of a collective passion. We train to go faster, be stronger, learn from each other, and have fun. Our members participate at every level; locally, regionally, nationally, and even at the international level. We wish to extend our proposal for sponsorship to promote our club and your business.

We thank you in advance for reviewing our proposal and look forward to joining forces with you.

Our non-profit club WAS listed under section 501 (c)(4) of the IRS was started in 2011. In 2023, we dissolved the original organization and were able reform NWI Triathletes Inc. as a true non-profit under section 501 (c)(3)! Your donation is now TAX DEDUCTIBLE!!! ðŸ‘ We have held close to 110 members annually, located mainly in Lake and Porter Counties. NWI Triathletes supports local races each year.

In 2023 this included Leon’s World’s Fastest Triathlon, Grand Rapids Triathlon, Lake Max Culvers Sprint Triathlon, MiTi half/full Triathlon, and Relay & Duathlon for Recovery. Our tent and banners are utilized to advertise our sponsors in addition to giving support to our athletes. Sponsors are also advertised on our website and on our social media outlets. The support of our sponsors plays a significant role in making NWI Triathletes what it is today.

In the next year, we will be actively growing our organization by providing educational resources, group training events, and social events to our members and the triathlon community.

SUCCESS AT LA PORTE

Our first year running the La Porte Sprint Triathlon was a HUGE SUCCESS! We had 225 registered participants between the triathlon and duathlon (up 100 participants from the previous year)! We had to cap the participants since we had originally only planned for 150 athletes. For 2024, we have been awarded the USA Triathlon Indiana State Championship, which will drive even more athletes to the area to participate in our event. We plan to cap the event at 300 participants, unless we can find a solution for parking. In 2024, the race will be in its 44th year and we intend to make it an incredibly special event in the state for years to come. Our hope is to not only increase the # of participants but make the race a destination for athletes all over the Midwest by building on its history and ingraining the race into the culture of the town. Our list of improvements over 2023 are: new sight buoys for an extended swim course, more signage around the region advertising the race, a better transition area experience, professional media coverage and on-site photographers/videographers and a smoother check-in experience for athletes.

NWI Triathletes Sponsorship AGREEMENT

The following is an annual sponsorship agreement between the NWI Triathletes and Sponsor.

I am a legal representative of this business and by registering agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the Sponsorship Agreement. Once accepted by NWI Triathletes Club, this agreement shall be in force for the period specified below.
